THE WORLD OF THE HONDA CIVIC 2012 HYBRID IDEAS DRIVE TECHNOLOGY,BY AUTORITE VENTURES (NIGERIA).

Make it a Combo

The Civic Hybrid with Integrated Motor Assist IMA® combines the brisk performance of a 1.5-liter, 8-valve, SOHC i-VTEC® engine that has been refined for 2012 with many friction-reducing and airflow improvements with a high-output electric motor. Together this combo generates 110 hp.

The Civic Hybrid also features a continuously variable transmission, which is an advanced transmission that substitutes the gears found in more traditional transmissions and replaces them with a metal push-belt running between a pair of variable-width pulleys.

Less Weight, Drives Great Weight-saving technologies, improved aerodynamics and engine modifications result in a new Civic with some impressive new EPA ratings.

The 2012 Civic Hybrid now achieves an EPA estimated 44 city/44 highway mpg[1]. Plus, increased structural rigidity makes for more responsive handling.
